CHEMCON 2008, the 61st Annual Session of IIChE aims to provide a knowledge sharing platform and a forum for Indian chemical and allied industries, academia and research for continuous education, professional excellence and networking.

Based on the theme of Green Technology and Sustainable Development, the session will help to provide a forum for substantial discussion on the emerging technologies and methodologies being developed to overcome the challenges that exist in all the areas of chemical engineering.

US-India Joint Session: A joint US-India conference on energy will be organized on 28th and 29th December, 2008.

Shri Dhirubhai Ambani Commemoration Day will be celebrated on 28th December 2008.

Annual Sessions of IIChE in 1965, 1977 & 1999 were successfully conducted by the department.
